This is my fourth year at College Lakes Elementary. I have been teaching for a total of 5 years in Cumberland County. I also specialized in ABA therapy and currently work for an outside company. I recently got married, October will be 1 year. We have 1 son and 2 dogs.
I tell all my parents I treat my students like my own son. He or she will be respectful, will do everything for them self ( I will provide assistance when needed), and will have manners. My main goal is to make your student as independent as possible whether washing his or her hands, getting dressed, feeding themselves and/or completing homework. I work towards all of this throughout the school year and much more. I hope to push your child to be more independent than when he or she walked into my classroom.
This year I have a brand new teacher assistant. Mrs. Spearman. She is from J.W. Coon and has experience in all different types of settings! This is her first year in an AU classroom. She is quick on her feet and will jump in as needed!
